From the Helm All members: check the expiration of your Dept. of Homeland Security ID card. Inform the FC of the expiration date at least one month before it expires. Operations All Operational members: remember to let Gabby, FSO-OP, know if you are going out of town for any length of time.
If you haven't been on patrol lately call a Coxswain and volunteer to crew on his patrol. Also remember to keep track of your requalifications, workshops, and other requirements.
Public Education The next About Boating Safely course will be offered on June 09, 10, & 11 at Lemon Bay Park. The classes will meet from 09:00 - 12:00 each day. How about becoming an instructor? As our current roster of instructors retire or step back we need new people to take their places. Now is the time to begin. The instructor course is online, or if you need to obtain a hard copy, see John Cahow, FSO-MT.
